We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected, and we aim to be transparent about how your data is handled. By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data Collection

Sound Nutrition does not collect any personal information, including names, email addresses, or health data, outside of the information you choose to input into the app. All data entered by the user is stored locally on the device and never transmitted to external servers.

iCloud Backup

If you enable iCloud Backup on your device, a history of your user-logged nutritional and health data may be backed up to your private iCloud storage. This data is private and encrypted by Apple to ensure security and privacy. Sound Nutrition, LLC does not have access to any data stored in iCloud.

You can disable iCloud backup for this app at any time through your device’s settings if you do not wish to back up the app data to iCloud.

3. Data Use

The data you provide to Sound Nutrition is used exclusively within the app to support its functionality:

• Weight: The app uses your weight to recommend appropriate caloric needs levels for healthy eating and lifestyle goals.
• Nutritional Input: Any nutritional data you input is logged to display a history of your inputs over time, allowing you to track your progress.

Sound Nutrition, LLC does not use any third-party services for data processing, analytics, or other functions. All data entered into the app is handled exclusively within the app, stored locally on your device or iCloud (if enabled), and is not shared with any external entities.

4. Data Security

Sound Nutrition takes your privacy and data security seriously. All personal data entered into the app is protected through encryption both locally on your device and in iCloud storage (if enabled). Apple uses robust encryption techniques to ensure that your data remains secure and private.

To further protect access to your data, we recommend that you use a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID to secure the app on your device. These measures provide an additional layer of protection, ensuring that only you can access the app and your personal health information.

5. User Rights

You have the right to manage your personal data within Sound Nutrition. Since the app does not store any personal information externally, you cannot directly correct or update any data entered into the app. However, you can delete all user data by either:

• Deleting the app from your device, which will remove all locally stored data.
• Deleting your iCloud backup data (if iCloud backup is enabled) through your device’s iCloud settings.

Please note that once data is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
